LABELS.

The identification of goods is very important and necessary to avoid errors of selection.

There are two main divisions cloud depending on the environment in which will be used:

  • SELF-ADHESIVE LABELS.

Anatomy of a label wrap

In cross-section a label wrap is a sandwich of several layers with specific properties. This arrangement is composed of a:

Surface Material:
The surface material can be varied depending on the properties that you want to impart to labels. The surface material is fixed by the application where you apply the labels. RIBBONS.

The Ribbons and tapes used in thermal transfer printers to print emulsion containing the different texts or images. The Ribbons are made of a polyester film (Mylar) very thin which has been sublimated ink base is dissolved in a wax or resin organic.

Depending on the durability of the printing and the uses to which they are going to have a label, you can get ribbons from three main materials - Wax, Wax / Resin and Resin.

Wax: The wax ribbons are the best known and used because of its low price. They are soft and are easily recognized because of its high gloss finish. Wax Resin: ribbons have better durability, and better scratching resistance. Recommended in printing paper and synthetic materials. Unlike wax ribbons these ribbons have a matte surface. Colors: The most used color is black but you can get different colors like Blue, Red, Green.
